RBC Insurance

Here is a brief summary of the most common travel insurance plan that is highly recommended for everyone. This is only a very brief summary, and you should read the full document for the full details. Please note that it is highly recommended that all members of the group have deluxe travel insurance. Departures from St. John's
Deluxe Insurance for 5 to 9 days
Ages 0 to 59 - $108
Ages 60 to 64 - $120
Ages 65 to 69 - $144
Ages 70 to 74 - $249

***rates based on ages 0-59 for up to $1100 worth of cancelation - if you are older than 59 or if your trip is costing more than $1100 than there will be a slight increase in your rate***  Please note if insurance is not purchased before April 24th, 2013 the rate may increase slightly.

RBC Deluxe Travel Insurance covers your emergency medical needs; doctor visits, tests, hospitalization, etc. This plan also covers cancellation, interruption and trip delays, flight accident, travel accident, delayed baggage & personal effects and damaged baggage. All you are required to do is call collect 905 816 2561 as soon as an issue arises and they will make suggestions based on your situtation. Please refer to the insurance documents for coverage information.

Anyone over the age of 73 will be required to remit a medical questionnaire prior to booking to ensure the coverage will be permitted by RBC. We will add everyone to the group travel insurance policy at the time of deposit. The premium will be paid with the final payment. As the provincial taxes vary, those amounts will be determined at payment time.

We will require your date of birth at the time of booking your trip to confirm the rate.

 

Anyone who has medical insurance and is familar and comfortable with their current coverage can purchase a non-medical package.  It has all the same benefits as the deluxe package without the medical insurance.

Anyone declining travel insurance will be required to sign a waiver.
